Hacking goes from 9pm on Friday January 20th, 2022 until 9am on Sunday January 22nd, 2022.

Projects must be submitted by 9am on 1/22/23 in order to be considered for judging.

Project and Submission Requirements

Please include an "elevator pitch" to briefly describe your project at the top of your submission. Also include some images/videos so we can see your physical project. Beyond that, describe your project however you want! Feel free to tell a story of how you came up with your idea, describe the technical details (but please keep this readable), and/or fun use cases for your project.

We will award prizes to the best projects (both overall and in the three project subcategories). We also have many raffles and minigames throughout the weekend for opportunities to win even more prizes!

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

There will be two rounds of judging. The first is a pitch to a panel of judges consisting of a 90 second pitch followed by 3 minutes of Q&A for clarification. The best teams will progress to the final round where they will present their projects to everyon on the Ackerman Grand Ballroom stage.

The exact rubric our judges will use is here.
